Shift Details:

Monday through Friday, start times vary between 0645-0945 and end times between 1515-1830. Approximately every 5th weekend at the North Hills and Tosa location 0745-1145 or 0800-1200.

Job Summary:

Responsible for phlebotomy, specimen processing, customer service and provides general office support in a clinic setting.

EXPERIENCE

Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program of 6 months or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred.

EDUCATION

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

LICENSURE

ASCP certification preferred.

TRAINING

Formal training in phlebotomy, Medical Assistant training or equivalent or Health Unit Coordinator diploma is preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology.
