We treat our patients—and each other—like family. Join our team and take the next step in your career as a Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist. Schedule Monday-Friday Four 10-hour shifts per week Position Summary As a Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist, you play a critical role in patient care by serving as the key link between patients, healthcare providers, and the laboratory team. You will perform a variety of phlebotomy procedures to collect blood specimens used for diagnostic testing and treatment. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. You will ensure timely and accurate specimen collection while prioritizing physician orders and maintaining the highest standards of safety and compassion. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection techniques with accuracy and care Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens Prioritize and complete physician orders efficiently Provide outstanding customer service to patients, physicians, and staff Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Support laboratory operations and workflow as needed
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or
GED Preferred:
Completion of a phlebotomy training program Certification (ASPT or ASCP) One year of phlebotomy experience in a hospital, clinic, or physician practice
