At Grelot Physical Therapy, you will have the time, autonomy, and clinical support to practice Physical Therapy the way it should be practiced. You will treat patients one-on-one in 40-minute appointments , work with a diverse orthopedic and musculoskeletal caseload, and have the freedom to make thoughtful treatment decisions based on each patient's presentation, goals, and progress. This is not a high-volume environment built around moving patients through a schedule. It is an opportunity to develop stronger orthopedic skills, build meaningful relationships with patients, strengthen your clinical confidence, and create a long-term career within an established private practice. Whether you are a new graduate looking for mentorship , an early-career PT ready to sharpen your skills, or an experienced Physical Therapist looking for greater autonomy, Grelot Physical Therapy gives you room to keep becoming a better clinician. For more than 25 years , Grelot Physical Therapy has served the Mobile community through personalized care, strong patient relationships, and a commitment to helping people achieve lasting results. What You Will Receive Compensation equivalent to $90,000 annually , based on experience. Performance-based bonus opportunities. One-on-one patient care. 40-minute treatment appointments. 401(k) retirement plan. 401(k) company matching. Paid time off. Paid major holidays. $2,000 annual continuing education allowance after one year. Five paid continuing education days each year after one year. Mentorship and ongoing professional development. Clinical autonomy and freedom to use your professional judgment. Opportunities for advancement and increased responsibility. Strong administrative support. Spacious, professional treatment facility. Collaborative and supportive clinical team. Alternative scheduling options may be considered for the right Physical Therapist. Practice Physical Therapy With More Time and Autonomy Great Physical Therapy requires time to evaluate thoroughly, think clinically, educate patients, provide skilled treatment, and adjust the plan of care as the patient progresses. At Grelot Physical Therapy, you will provide one-on-one Physical Therapy during 40-minute appointments. That gives you the opportunity to stay actively involved throughout treatment instead of managing several patients at once. You will have the freedom to: Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations. Develop individualized plans of care. Identify movement limitations and contributing impairments. Use hands-on and manual therapy techniques when clinically appropriate. Progress therapeutic exercise based on patient response. Modify treatment based on clinical findings. Educate patients about their condition and recovery. Follow patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Build meaningful relationships with the people you treat. Use your clinical reasoning and professional judgment when making treatment decisions. Build Stronger Orthopedic Physical Therapy Skills You will work with a diverse orthopedic and musculoskeletal caseload that gives you consistent opportunities to strengthen your clinical abilities.
Your caseload may include:
Orthopedic rehabilitation. Musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Post-operative rehabilitation. Manual therapy. Therapeutic exercise progression. Movement and functional assessment. Pain and mobility limitations. Strength and conditioning principles. Return-to-activity planning. Patient education. Long-term case management. The goal is not simply to complete another day of treatments. The goal is to help you become a more confident, capable, and well-rounded Physical Therapist while delivering care you can be proud of. Mentorship for New Graduate and Early-Career Physical Therapists Starting your Physical Therapy career should not mean being handed a full schedule and expected to figure everything out on your own. At Grelot Physical Therapy, you will have access to experienced clinicians who can help you strengthen your clinical reasoning, treatment skills, patient communication, and confidence.
You will have opportunities to:
Ask questions about challenging patient presentations. Review treatment strategies with experienced clinicians. Receive feedback on evaluations and plans of care. Improve your manual therapy skills. Strengthen your clinical reasoning. Build confidence progressing patients through rehabilitation. Improve patient communication and education. Continue developing through mentorship and continuing education. New graduate and early-career Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply. You will receive support while still being encouraged to think independently and develop your own clinical style. Experienced Physical Therapists Can Practice With Greater Freedom If you already have outpatient Physical Therapy experience, this role gives you the opportunity to bring that experience into a private practice where your perspective is valued. You will have the opportunity to: Individualize treatment based on each patient's needs. Apply evidence-based treatment approaches. Bring new clinical ideas to the team. Collaborate with other clinicians. Help improve patient care systems. Mentor developing clinicians when appropriate. Take on additional responsibility as the practice grows. Develop future leadership skills. Continue building the type of Physical Therapy career you want. Your experience should create more opportunity and influence , not simply a larger caseload. What You Will Do As a Physical Therapist at Grelot Physical Therapy, you will: Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations. Identify orthopedic and musculoskeletal impairments. Develop individualized plans of care based on patient goals and clinical findings. Provide evidence-based Physical Therapy treatment. Utilize hands-on and manual therapy techniques when appropriate. Guide patients through therapeutic exercise and functional movement. Progress and modify treatment based on patient response. Educate patients about recovery, movement, and long-term health. Track patient progress and functional outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Communicate professionally with patients, families, and referring providers. Collaborate with clinicians and administrative team members. Help create an exceptional patient experience from evaluation through discharge.
