1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with SNF experience for a 13-week travel contract at a skilled nursing facility in Gardena, CA. Details Skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting Day shifts, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00-16:30) Occasional weekend coverage may be required Floating may be required 36 hours per week Patient population includes orthopedic (total hip/knee replacement, post-op shoulder, cervical, and spinal surgeries), neurological (stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's, MS, muscular dystrophy), and cognitive disorder cases Any charting system experience accepted Requirements Active CA PT license required (if applicable) BLS certification required 1 year of SNF experience preferred New graduates will be considered Experience across work settings including acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and SNF is a plus Skills in orthopedics, neurologic rehabilitation, home exercise program design, and patient/family education preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and neurological conditions across SNF and related care settings Patient and family education is a key component of the role All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
