1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation clinic, requiring an active PT license and at least 1 year of experience. Details Outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting Days shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week 13-week assignment Utilizes EMR for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries Requirements Active PT license required in the state of practice (license required if applicable) Minimum 1 year of experience required Degree in Physical Therapy required Must be able to lift 50 lbs and assist with patient transfers and mobility Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods during 8-10 hour work days Computer skills required, including typing, Word, Internet, and EMR use Additional Information Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding patient care Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations Work closely with front office staff on scheduling and patient follow-up Be familiar with PT billing policies including Medicare, workers' comp, private, auto, liens, and cash pay Proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and other federal and state regulations No travel required for this role
