Your role is pivotal in helping patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and enhance their quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' physical capabilities and limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities to address patient needs. Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to aid recovery and promote wellness. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions and treatment plans. Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and incorporate them into patient care. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of practice.
Required Education:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution. Valid California licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting. Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans for diverse patient populations. Proven track record of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, modalities, and equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to assess patient conditions and develop personalized treatment plans. Proficiency in documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records. Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to patient centered care.
