Implement physiotherapy techniques to promote recovery in areas such as orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to clinical documentation standards. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and discharge planning. Educate patients and their families on exercises, home care routines, and community resources to support ongoing rehabilitation outside clinical settings. Skills Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and treatment modalities relevant to physiotherapy. Skilled in developing effective care plans for diverse populations including geriatric patients, pediatric clients, and those recovering from neurological or orthopedic conditions. Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation center operations and inpatient hospital workflows. Proficient in managing electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems with attention to detail in documentation standards. Excellent client communication skills to explain treatment procedures clearly and foster trust with patients. Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams on discharge planning and patient care strategies.
