You'll work directly with students, collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure that each child receives truly impactful care. Your expertise will foster positive outcomes, helping students achieve their fullest potential through individualized therapy plans and ongoing support. Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Active State Physical Therapist License in good standing Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is strongly preferred but not required Solid understanding of IEPs and special education protocols a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, parents, and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop targeted treatment plans for students Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed Provide direct therapy services to support students' motor skills, mobility, and access to learning environments Offer training and strategies to teachers and families to facilitate student growth Consult with educational teams to implement best practices in physical therapy interventions
