Work EnvironmentThe Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work onsite in our outpatient office, offering a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere designed to foster teamwork and effective communication.

Key ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders.

Guide patients through specific exercises tailored to their rehabilitation goals, utilizing various modalities and manual techniques.

Assess patients' physical condition before, during, and after therapy sessions, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans in collaboration with supervising licensed physical therapists.

Utilize assistive devices such as walkers and resistance trainers to facilitate patient mobility and progress.

Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care, exercises to perform at home, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery and overall wellness.

Support the professional development of junior staff by mentoring them on best practices in therapeutic techniques and patient engagement strategies.

Complete all documentation thoroughly and accurately in alignment with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.

Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinic services.

Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will primarily work with adult and elderly patients who are undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions such as fractures, joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes.

Your approachable demeanor and ability to tailor communication will help to build trusting relationships, enhancing the therapeutic alliance with patients and their families.

QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.

A valid California PTA license and a physical therapist assistant degree are essential.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation, is highly preferred.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.

A strong passion for patient care and a dedication to improving lives through physical therapy.

Preferred ExperienceWhile the minimum requirement is 2 years in a clinical setting, experience working specifically in outpatient orthopedic care, using therapeutic modalities, and implementing exercise programs is advantageous.

Familiarity with outcome measurement tools to track patient progress will enhance your contributions to our evidence-based approach.

Compensation and BenefitsSalary range of
