Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical health, capabilities, and specific rehabilitation needs to inform treatment planning. Develop tailored treatment protocols aimed at enhancing strength, mobility, and overall functional independence, which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities. Administer treatments with precision and care, continuously monitoring progress and modifying plans as needed to meet evolving patient goals. Document patient progress meticulously, using electronic health records to maintain accurate records and support compliance with state and federal regulations. Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care is provided to each client. Educate patients and their families about home exercise regimens and techniques to maintain and improve physical health post-discharge. Uphold high professional standards and compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices, ensuring client safety and quality of care. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on older adults and individuals recovering from surgeries or injuries. Our therapists are trained to address a variety of conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and postoperative disorders, ensuring personalized treatment plans that cater to each client's unique circumstances and goals. This role is crucial in improving functional outcomes and maintaining the dignity of our patients as they progress through their rehabilitation journey. Qualifications Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California. Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's degree or Doctorate is preferred. Strong foundational knowledge in physical therapy principles, practices, and modalities. Preferred Experience Previous experience working in an outpatient setting, particularly with the geriatric population, is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans and a track record of achieving positive patient outcomes. Excellent communication skills, with the aptitude for educating and motivating patients and their families. A collaborative mindset with experience in working within a multidisciplinary team environment. A commitment to ongoing professional development and engagement in continuing education activities. Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from
USD 120,000
to 130,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
