Weekly About the Role ShareSTAFF is hiring a temporary, part-time Physical Therapist (PT) to support a Functional Restoration Program in the Sacramento, California area. The program serves workers' compensation patients who are managing chronic pain. The Physical Therapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help patients improve function, increase activity tolerance, and develop practical strategies for long-term pain management. What We Offer Weekly pay - every week, on time Consistent part-time schedule Meaningful work supporting patients through functional restoration Collaborative multidisciplinary care environment Dedicated recruiter support before, during, and after your assignment Access to additional What You'll Do Perform patient evaluations and identify functional limitations, rehabilitation needs, and measurable goals Develop and manage individualized plans of care consistent with program requirements and clinical findings Provide therapeutic exercise, functional activities, and other appropriate interventions to improve mobility, strength, endurance, and activity tolerance Educate patients on body mechanics, pacing, safe movement, and strategies for managing chronic pain Monitor patient response to treatment and modify the plan of care when clinically appropriate Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and recommendations accurately and on time Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health professionals, case managers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team Communicate patient progress, barriers, and treatment recommendations to the appropriate team members Direct and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants when applicable and in accordance with California requirements Follow all safety, confidentiality, documentation, and clinical compliance requirements What You Bring - Required Current and unrestricted California Physical Therapist license Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Previous experience with chronic pain, workers' compensation, occupational rehabilitation, or functional restoration programs preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, therapeutic exercise, and functional rehabilitation Ability to evaluate patients, establish measurable goals, and develop appropriate plans of care Strong communication, clinical documentation, and patient education skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Current CPR or Basic Life Support certification if required by the facility Ability to work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. About ShareSTAFF ShareSTAFF connects nursing and allied health professionals with travel and contract assignments at hospitals, state facilities, and healthcare organizations nationwide.
