Desired Skills and Experience:

Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in California Graduate of an accredited PT program Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred Comfort working with K-12 student populations Ability to travel between several school sites as required Effective communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs Deliver direct therapy services across various school sites, adapting to student schedules and locations Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress and adjust interventions Maintain accurate records and report on student outcomes as required Provide training and support to school staff regarding mobility and physical development strategies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams This role offers the chance to positively influence students physical capabilities and confidence every day.
