Position Overview Atletico Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our new outpatient clinic located in Arvada, Colorado. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality orthopedic care, assisting patients in their journey to recovery and enhancing their overall quality of life. Work Environment This position will be based in a collaborative and supportive onsite clinic atmosphere, where you will interact directly with colleagues and patients without the constraints of techs or aides. Our facility is designed to promote patient engagement through one-on-one therapy sessions, allowing you ample time to develop personalized treatment plans and foster therapeutic relationships. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to establish patient treatment programs based on their individual needs and goals. Deliver individualized, evidence-based treatment sessions focusing on orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to spinal injuries, extremity ailments, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery. Engage actively in mentorship with a fellowship-trained orthopedic therapist, enhancing your clinical reasoning and treatment techniques through guided reflection. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care effectively and engage in ongoing professional development opportunities. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a diverse population, including athletes and adults recovering from a broad array of orthopedic conditions. You will work with patients through various stages of their recovery-from those seeking assistance immediately following an injury to those dealing with chronic conditions. Our emphasis on one-on-one treatment allows for tailored interventions focused on achieving the best possible patient outcomes. Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT) required. Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Colorado. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families. Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in physical therapy practices. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, specifically focused on orthopedics, is strongly preferred. Previous exposure to mentorship programs or advanced training in orthopedic techniques will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
