Work Environment You will be working onsite in our outpatient office located in Arvada, Colorado. The clinic is designed to provide comfort and accessibility to our patients, with modern facilities and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical evaluations of each patient to understand their unique needs and challenges, creating personalized treatment plans that facilitate their recovery and enhance their well-being. Deliver skilled therapy services including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities that cater to the specific requirements of our geriatric clientele. Regularly monitor and document patients' progress, adapting treatment plans in response to their evolving needs to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to coordinate a comprehensive approach to patient care. Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, develop home exercise programs, and introduce strategies for injury prevention. Implement and manage fall prevention programs and safety measures to mitigate risks within the assisted living community, ensuring the safety and independence of our patients. Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy through continuous education and apply innovative therapeutic techniques in daily practice. Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring confidentiality and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of care. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on our geriatric patients, who often face unique physical challenges due to aging. You will work with a variety of conditions including but not limited to orthopedic problems, post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, and chronic pain management. Understanding the specific needs of elderly patients and tailoring your approach accordingly will be essential in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university is mandatory. Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Colorado. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals effectively. Experience in geriatric therapy is preferred; however, we welcome applications from enthusiastic new graduates committed to this specialty. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs) and familiarity with documentation systems to ensure accurate patient records. Knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy and a commitment to applying the latest methodologies in patient care. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
