Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical evaluations of each patient to understand their unique needs and challenges, creating personalized treatment plans that facilitate their recovery and enhance their well-being. Regularly monitor and document patients' progress, adapting treatment plans in response to their evolving needs to ensure optimal outcomes. Implement and manage fall prevention programs and safety measures to mitigate risks within the assisted living community, ensuring the safety and independence of our patients. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on our geriatric patients, who often face unique physical challenges due to aging. You will work with a variety of conditions including but not limited to orthopedic problems, post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, and chronic pain management. Understanding the specific needs of elderly patients and tailoring your approach accordingly will be essential in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university is mandatory. Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Colorado. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals effectively. Experience in geriatric therapy is preferred; however, we welcome applications from enthusiastic new graduates committed to this specialty. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs) and familiarity with documentation systems to ensure accurate patient records. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
