Physical Therapist - Pelvic Health Movement Physio and Wellness Arvada, CO Job Details Full-time $87,000 - $100,000 a year 3 hours ago Benefits Continuing education credits Paid time off Flextime 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Qualifications Practicing in a physical therapy role Physical Therapy Motor function examinations Coordination and balance testing Full Job Description Job Summary Movement Physio and Wellness is a boutique, holistic pelvic health physical therapy clinic in Arvada, CO supporting people struggling with pelvic floor conditions such as pelvic pain, incontinence, pregnancy and postpartum, and perimenopause issues. We are a fully cash-pay practice with established pelvic therapists, completing 60 minute treatments 1:1 with the patient without techs or aids. We love supporting people recovering from embarrassing issues and finally getting their lives back. Job Duties Here at Movement Physio and Wellness we are looking for a full-time Pelvic Health PT to join our small, passionate team with pelvic floor therapists, an office manager, and a front desk admin. You'll evaluate and treat adult patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, orthopedic pain, and spine and hip conditions — using a whole-body assessment. We want someone who is creative, an excellent communicator, and willing to look outside the pelvic floor for potential root causes. We believe doing internal work is necessary to get a true assessment of the pelvic floor, and we also believe being a successful pelvic floor therapist is way more than prescribing Kegels and pelvic floor stretches.
Your day-to-day will include:
60-minute, one-on-one sessions with every patient, 7-8 patients a day max. 4 or 5 day work week Treating a rich mix of pelvic health (leakage, pelvic pain, prenatal/postpartum, perimenopause, male pelvic health) and orthopedic conditions Integrating manual therapy, internal work, dry needling, visceral mobilization, Pilates, strength training, and patient education into your treatment plans Communicating with patients their plan of care and expectations for how they will progress thru pelvic floor therapy Collaborating with a tight-knit team that works hard and has fun doing it Participating in mentorship and staff training to always provide the latest evidence based practice. Quarterly off-site retreats to get out of the clinic and bond
Our Ideal Candidate:
Positive, friendly attitude towards patients and colleagues 1-3 years of physical therapy experience is preferred with 1 entry level pelvic floor course taken Willingness to learn, grow, and be mentored in our fast changing and expanding field Licensed PT in the State of Colorado Dry Needling experience strongly preferred or willingness to take a course prior to employment Ability to commute to our clinic in Arvada, Colorado Strong orthopedic and manual skills, especially with spine and lower extremity Utilizing a fitness forward exercise approach with our gym and strength equipment Provide holistic therapy that puts patients at the center of their care Visceral mobilization skills a plus or willingness to learn What You'll Get Full time salary of $87,000-$100,000 depending on experience and hours worked Sign-On Bonus of $2,000 Minimal documentation — paid lunch and admin time to finish your notes at work Flexible scheduling — 32-37 patient hrs/week, built around your life Generous PTO, Holiday, and flex time to adjust hours to fit your lifestyle Medical insurance stipend so you can have access to a plan that fits you Profit share program $1,500/year CEU stipend toward pelvic health certifications and coursework Scheduled mentorship for 3 months of on-boarding, weekly staff meetings, and monthly 1:1 mentorship with the owner, Dr. Andrea Nied Cash-pay model — no insurance to dictate our treatment plans Easy access to Colorado outdoor activities with our West Arvada location To Apply Send your resume and a quick note about why you're interested to .
