Job Description
Step into a rewarding role supporting student success as a Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year! This contract opportunity offers an engaging K-12 caseload, serving students across a district in a full-time, in-person position running from ASAP through June 2027. With 32-37.5 hours per week, youll have the chance to positively impact young lives and collaborate closely with dedicated educators.
Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Physical Therapy license in Connecticut Experience providing PT services in a school-based setting Familiarity with programming and interventions for K-12 aged students Strong communication and organizational skills to facilitate collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to full-time, five-day-a-week, in-person availability for the full contract period Ability to manage a districtwide, diverse caseload, delivering individualized supportKey Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans based on students IEPs Deliver direct therapeutic interventions individually or in groups within the school environment Consult and collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and parents to support student mobility and participation Document services, write progress updates, and participate in IEP meetings as the districts Physical Therapist Contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment that fosters student independence and achievement This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career in a dynamic school setting, enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, and work with a passionate community of educators and therapists.
