Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing physical therapy services in a supportive and collaborative educational environment. This contract opportunity offers part-time hours (25 hours per week) during the 2026-2027 school year and is conveniently split between two nearby school sites. You'll work with students ages 6 to 21 within a strong program shaped by evidence-based behavioral principles. Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Physical Therapy license Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings Comfort and experience working with diverse student populations Knowledge of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles is preferred Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual needs across a range of ages

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy services at two school locations to students aged 6 to 21 Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans in collaboration with other educational professionals Integrate therapy activities within classroom routines and behavioral interventions Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and report findings to school teams and families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions Provide support and training to educational staff as needed Enjoy a work schedule that encourages balance, with part-time hours and the potential for continued involvement during the summer's extended school year program.
