Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful position supporting students as a Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, in-person opportunity runs from ASAP through June 2027 and provides the chance to work across a dynamic K-12 caseload. You'll collaborate with a committed staff and contribute to positive outcomes for students of all ages. As the sole district-wide physical therapist, you'll deliver essential services to children with varying needs, making a direct difference in their educational access and physical development.
Your background:
Valid PT licensure for Connecticut (or eligibility) Previous school-based experience highly preferred Ability to effectively manage a K-12 caseload Strong communication and organizational skills Flexibility and teamwork-focused mindset Comfortable providing therapy onsite; remote work is not available What you'll do: Assess students and develop individualized physical therapy plans Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Document progress and maintain detailed service records Attend meetings related to student services and IEPs Educate staff on strategies to support students' physical needs in the classroom This contract role features a Monday through Friday schedule with approximately 32-37.5 hours per week.
