Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, identifying limitations and areas for improvement in mobility and function. Design and implement customized treatment plans that reflect each patient's unique medical history, rehabilitation goals, and personal preferences. Utilize evidence-based practices, applying techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance recovery. Monitor patient progress closely, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families about injury prevention strategies, home exercise programs, and self-management techniques to foster independence. Work collaboratively with a diversified team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and other therapists, to coordinate care and improve overall patient health. Document all patient interactions and treatment strategies effectively in our electronic health record system to ensure compliance and quality of care. Patient Population / Client Focus As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Taylor Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse range of patients, from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults managing chronic conditions. Your focus will be primarily on orthopedic rehabilitation, addressing issues such as post-surgical recovery, fractures, strains, and musculoskeletal disorders. This role allows you to impact not only the physical rehabilitation of individuals but also their emotional well-being as they reclaim their mobility and quality of life. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida. Demonstrated clinical expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation processes. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to educate and engage patients. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and shared goals. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with a specialization in orthopedic physical therapy or certifications such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position falls within a competitive salary range of
USD 90,000
to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
