Job Description

FUNctional Pediatric Therapy, LLC is a rapidly growing pediatric physical therapy practice in Boca Raton, FL, specializing in infant and early childhood development. We are seeking a passionate, Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our collaborate team. Our practice focuses on treating the whole child, not just a diagnosis, with play-based therapy that empowers parents and supports developmental foundations. Our practice provides services in:
A private clinical setting with a state-of-the-art sensory gym In-home sessions School-based/community sessions (as appropriate)
Position:
Pediatric Physical Therapist (PRN)
Location:
Boca Raton, FL and surrounding areas
Schedule:
PRN (10-30 hours a week) / flexible hours Responsibilities Evaluate and treat infants, toddlers, and children with developmental, neuromuscular, and orthopedic conditions, with an emphasis on early intervention and sensorimotor development Develop and implement individualized plans of care focused on functional outcomes and family-centered goals Provide one-on-one, play-based therapy in a sensory-rich clinic environment to promote engagement through movement and meaningful activities Deliver services in home and school settings as needed, collaborating with families, caregivers, teachers, and other providers Educate and coach parents/caregivers on home programs to support carryover and continued progress Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with practice standards and payer requirements Communicate effectively with team members and participate in multidisciplinary collaboration to support high-quality, coordinated care Qualifications Active (or license-eligible) Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Florida Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Prior pediatric and/or early intervention experience preferred, but not required (new grads welcome) Strong interest and/or clinical skills in gross motor development, motor planning, balance, coordination, and sensorimotor development Comfortable working across clinic, home, and school-based settings Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on family-centered care Ability to work independently, manage a flexible caseload, and adapt to changing schedules Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance Current professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start date) What We Offer Competitive compensation Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding pediatric practice Supportive, collaborative environment with a focus on playful, functional therapy Access to a fully equipped sensory gym and high-quality pediatric therapy tools Mentorship opportunities Ideal Candidate You are energetic, playful, and compassionate, with a genuine love for working with children and their families.
