Located in Port Orange, Florida, our facility is seeking a highly skilled and motivated physical therapist to enhance patient rehabilitation and elevate the standard of care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Design, implement, and modify personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals. Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on their responses and results. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs and strategies to promote ongoing health and independence. Administer a range of therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and modalities to address specific physical impairments and enhance mobility. Maintain strict compliance with state and federal regulations while upholding the highest standards of professional practice. Patient Population / Client Focus As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Rain or Shine Physical Therapy Services, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will involve understanding the unique challenges faced by each client, and delivering therapy solutions that not only facilitate recovery but also empower them to regain their functional independence. Qualifications Current and active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida. A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher from an accredited institution. Strong communication and organizational skills to navigate patient interactions effectively. Exceptional interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. A genuine commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements. Preferred Experience At least two years of experience in physical therapy, particularly in a skilled nursing facility or with geriatric populations.
