8-hour Day Shift Position Overview Upstream Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week contract assignment in Duluth, Georgia . The selected candidate will provide high-quality outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services, develop individualized treatment plans, and help patients improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life. This position is ideal for a Physical Therapist with outpatient orthopedic experience who is comfortable managing a busy patient caseload and working in a fast-paced clinic environment. Patient Population Outpatient Orthopedics Orthopedic rehabilitation Follow-up and rehabilitation visits Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients and assess functional limitations. Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans. Provide appropriate therapeutic exercises and interventions. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately and timely. Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, home exercise programs, and injury prevention. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient outcomes. Manage a high-volume outpatient caseload while maintaining quality patient care. Float to other clinics as needed. Maintain expected productivity and scheduling standards. Clinic Expectations 36 hours guaranteed , with an expectation of working up to 40 hours per week .
Expected productivity:
approximately 60 visits per week .
Expected patient volume:
approximately 12-14 patients per day . Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected. Candidate may be required to float to other clinics . Any overtime must be approved by the Director before OT hours are worked . Candidate Requirements Must be a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) . Outpatient experience is preferred. Must be comfortable working with an outpatient orthopedic patient population. Must be able to manage a high-volume caseload. Must be comfortable seeing approximately 12-14 patients per day. Must be willing to work within the clinic's productivity expectations. Must be flexible to float to other clinics when required.
