Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the quality of life for diverse patient populations. In this engaging role, you will assess individual needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver expert physiotherapy interventions in our clinic. Your expertise will help patients regain independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals through compassionate care and evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical function, mobility, and pain levels using advanced physiology knowledge and clinical assessment techniques. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy such as trigger point therapy, and other modalities to optimize recovery outcomes. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers to coordinate care plans and ensure seamless patient management. Manage electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems to accurately document patient progress, treatment interventions, and discharge planning details in compliance with clinical documentation standards. Provide patient education on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and community resources to support ongoing rehabilitation outside of clinical settings. Assist in discharge planning by evaluating patient needs for continued therapy or community care services, ensuring smooth transitions from inpatient to outpatient or home health environments. Engage with diverse patient populations including geriatric patients, pediatrics, neurology cases, orthopedics, and those requiring outpatient rehabilitation or home & community care services. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist with practicing in a physical therapy role. Proven experience in acute care settings such as hospitals or inpatient units with familiarity in inpatient experience and hospital protocols. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards necessary for accurate treatment planning and record keeping. Hands-on experience working with outpatient clinics or outpatient rehabilitation centers is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans that incorporate physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and client communication skills. Experience working with geriatric patients and understanding of home health or home & community care environments is preferred. Proficiency in EMR systems (Electronic Health Records) management for efficient documentation of patient care activities. Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care. Pay:
$30.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 36.0 per week
