Job Description

Step into a dynamic role supporting student development as a dedicated Physical Therapist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in school communities near Aurora, IL. With a manageable commitment of 7.5 hours one day each week, you'll provide vital services where they're most needed, traveling to various school locations to conduct evaluations and offer your expertise.
Key Qualifications:
Active Illinois Physical Therapist license required Experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred Familiarity with school-based services and regulations Ability to travel between multiple sites as an itinerant provider Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Any additional state or district-mandated certifications or clearances as required by local guidelines
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students within the school setting Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Document observations, progress, and recommendations in accordance with district standards Provide expertise and possible supervision in accordance with caseload needs Serve as a resource to school staff and families to support student participation and functional mobility Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of different campus environments Enjoy a stimulating caseload, supportive environment, and the ability to make a tangible impact without long weekly time commitments.
