Key Qualifications & Experience:

Active Illinois Physical Therapy license Demonstrated pediatric experience, with a solid background working in schools Prior experience serving special education populations Skilled in assessing and addressing gross motor deficits and providing educationally relevant PT services

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy for students, fostering increased independence at school Collaborate with educators and related service providers on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Develop strategies to help students acquire or compensate for deficits in gross motor skills, ensuring meaningful participation in educational activities Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and outcomes Integrate therapy interventions into daily classroom routines, adapting to individual cognitive, sensory, and physical needs You'll be onsite for 37.5 hours per week, partnering with a supportive interdisciplinary team throughout your assignment.
