Qualifications & Experience:
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois Experience or interest in working with middle and high school students Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to provide services onsite and work effectively with an interdisciplinary team Prior school-based PT experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Document evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines Attend monthly meetings and participate in roundtable discussions for ongoing case collaboration Access and utilize state-of-the-art equipment and testing materials provided on-site Partner with a same-discipline supervisor for ongoing mentorship, support, and professional growth Participate in annual performance evaluations and contribute to process improvement initiatives Take advantage of the robust professional development offerings specific to school-based practice Actively engage with colleagues in real-time through a dedicated intranet platform designed for seamless communication and knowledge sharing Start strong with a comprehensive "Buddy Program" to guide your orientation and ongoing success.
