Key Qualifications:

Valid Physical Therapy license in Illinois Previous experience working with pediatric populations or in school-based settings preferred Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and related school documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable traveling between two school buildings during the workweek Ability to adapt interventions across K-12 student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments for students across all grade levels Develop and implement customized treatment plans in coordination with educators and families Deliver direct and consultative PT services based on each student's IEP Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with educational standards Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to multidisciplinary teams Support staff training and consultation on mobility, adaptive equipment, and safe student handling
