Full-time, 40 hours weekly for a 3-month duration We are currently looking for a dedicated Acute Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join a top-tier medical organization. This role involves assessing and caring for patients across the lifespan, crafting and adjusting personalized recovery programs, providing top-tier therapeutic services, acting as a clinical mentor for students and colleagues, and fostering a culture of clinical excellence through teamwork. Core Duties Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to create customized treatment strategies that address specific patient requirements and clinical observations. Adjust therapeutic interventions as needed to foster patient development and help individuals achieve their best possible rehabilitation results. Provide exceptional, patient-focused physical therapy services that consistently meet high professional standards. Act as a mentor to staff and students by demonstrating best practices in the field and offering ongoing clinical expertise. Work alongside multidisciplinary medical teams to streamline patient care and ensure clear communication during the entire recovery journey. Required Credentials Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Active licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Illinois. Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong understanding of clinical evaluation methods, rehabilitation theory, and patient care standards. Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
