Job Description

Make an impact in the lives of K-12 students as a Physical Therapist serving a vibrant educational community near East Saint Louis, IL. This full-time contract position offers the chance to collaborate with educators and families to support student development and well-being. You'll work a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours each week, providing expert therapy services across a varied caseload of students. Your expertise will help children and teens reach their physical goals, improve functional skills, and achieve success in their school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Physical Therapy Active IL Physical Therapist licensure Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions for K-12 students Develop individualized treatment plans to promote mobility and participation in school activities Monitor progress, maintain records, and modify plans as needed to achieve student goals Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to coordinate care and ensure student success Adhere to professional and ethical standards for therapy within educational settings
