Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role working onsite as a Physical Therapist, supporting students in a dynamic school-based setting. This part-time contract opportunity, based near Elgin, IL, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working just two days a week, totaling 15 hours. The assignment runs from early August 2026—beginning with orientation on August 3 and 4—through May 20, 2027.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Prior school-based or pediatric PT experience is a plus Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfort working onsite within a multidisciplinary team Ability to adapt your expertise to diverse student needs and age groups
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, supporting their functional and educational goals Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and document progress Work closely with educators and families to promote student inclusion and achievement Participate in monthly meetings, case reviews, and roundtable discussions with colleagues Use equipment and testing materials provided onsite Engage in process improvement initiatives to further enhance best practices
