This is a full-time, 8-week itinerant assignment near Kansas City, KS, where you'll make a significant impact working with a caseload of 39 students across multiple locations.

Key Qualifications:

Licensed Physical Therapist with active credentials for school-based practice Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Ability to manage an itinerant schedule efficiently and adapt between schools as needed Strong communication and documentation skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families Passion for fostering student growth and maximizing functional independence

Responsibilities:

Provide physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of 39 students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to support access to the educational environment Travel between multiple school locations, maintaining consistent service delivery Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all sessions, progress notes, and required reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to multidisciplinary teams This is an excellent contract assignment for those who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative educational settings and are eager to support students as they reach their full potential.
