Outpatient Pelvic Health & Rehabilitation About the Role Are you passionate about empowering patients to regain confidence, restore function, and improve their overall quality of life? We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT)•Pelvic Floor to join our collaborative multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide specialized, one-on-one therapy services in a private, supportive clinical environment. You will work closely with patients navigating pelvic floor dysfunctions, pelvic pain, pre•and postpartum recovery, and bowel/bladder conditions, creating individualized treatment plans that restore functional independence.
Perform comprehensive, trauma-informed pelvic health evaluations (including internal/external assessments, biomechanical posture, core stability, and functional movement analysis).
Individualized Treatment Plans:
Design and implement evidence-based interventions targeting urinary/fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain syndromes, diastasis recti, and sexual dysfunction.
Educate patients on pelvic anatomy, bowel/bladder retraining, ergonomic adjustments, and personalized home exercise programs (HEPs).
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Maintain active communication with referring physicians—including OB/GYNs, urologists, urogynecologists, colorectal surgeons, and primary care providers—to deliver coordinated care.
Clinical Documentation:
Complete thorough, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility compliance standards.
Professional Growth:
Participate in clinical peer reviews, continuing education, and community/physician outreach initiatives to promote pelvic health awareness.
Qualifications & Requirements Required:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MPT/BSPT) or Occupational Therapy program (OTD/MSOT/BSOT).
Licensure:
Current or eligible Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Certifications:
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Pelvic Floor Training:
Completion of foundational pelvic floor coursework or completed a pelvic floor rotation!
Preferred:
1+ years of outpatient clinical experience in pelvic health (motivated clinicians or new graduates with dedicated clinical rotations/coursework in pelvic floor rehabilitation are encouraged to apply).
