NeuroElite Physical Therapy Services™ is the only specialty neurologic physical therapy practice in the area. We provide one-on-one specialty care for individuals with neurologic injuries and conditions, and we integrate cutting-edge research and technology to advance patient outcomes.

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a physical therapist interested in providing specialized physical therapy services to individuals with neurologic conditions, helping them improve function and enhance quality of life. This role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, communicating with physicians and other members of the healthcare team, and ensuring the highest level of care for each patient.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations grounded in an understanding of neuroanatomy and the pathophysiology of neurologic conditions
  • Develop and implement realistic, patient-centered treatment plans focused on individual goals
  • Monitor patient progress through progress notes and reevaluations, as appropriate
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and fitness instructors to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Provide patient and caregiver education
  • Perform effective discharge planning
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record in accordance with the Louisiana Physical Therapy Practice Act
  • Treat a diverse patient population, including individuals with stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, hereditary spastic paraplegia, Friedreich's ataxia, and other complex neurologic conditions
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent) from an accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted Louisiana physical therapist license (or eligibility)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (required for mobile visits)
  • Passion for working with individuals with neurologic diagnoses
  • Lifelong learner committed to evidence-based practice
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to design effective treatment programs for neurologic disorders
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey the plan of care to patients, families, and providers
PREFERRED
  • Outpatient experience
  • NCS, neurologic residency, or neuro-focused continuing education
  • W-2 employee position
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to safely lift, transfer, and guard patients with significant mobility impairments, and to stand, kneel, and move for extended periods. NeuroElite Physical Therapy Services™ is an equal opportunity employer.
