Job Description:
This position comes with a $5,000 sign on bonus for new employees to the BILH system. Key Responsibilities Perform complete and thorough evaluations of patients' chief complaints, physical impairments, activities of daily living, and functional limitations Develop comprehensive plans of care with appropriate, measurable, and functional goals Plan and implement appropriate treatment activities to improve identified physical impairments and functional limitations Provide ongoing reassessment and modification of treatment plans in response to patients' progress Offer appropriate discharge planning and patient/family teaching, including home programs and recommendations for self-care Complete timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress notes Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Demonstrate effective time management and meet department productivity standards Maintain current knowledge of insurance requirements and regulations Participate in professional development activities and mentorship programs Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy license Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Preferred Experience in acute physical therapy settings Additional certifications in specialized physical therapy techniques Education and Experience Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program Relevant clinical experience in acute care settings preferred Licenses and Certifications Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy license Current BCLS certification
Pay Range:
$38.50 - $53.91 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
