1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Long Term Care assignment, requiring MA state licensure and prior LTC or Rehab experience. Details Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting Physical Therapy unit Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly worked hours No weekend or on-call requirements 13-week assignment Requirements Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; new grads considered with Level II clinical experience LTC or Rehab setting experience required MA state license required if applicable 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs Develops and adjusts individualized plans of care based on patient progress and evidence-based practice Administers manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, ambulation training, and use of assistive devices Provides consultation to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders Documents treatment and discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical standards Supervises physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students Participates in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and facility trainings Adheres to APTA standards and state practice acts No more than 7 days of requested RTO
