As a Physical Therapist, you will have: One-on-one patient care that allows you to stay involved throughout each treatment session 40-minute appointments with time to evaluate, educate, treat, and progress patients thoughtfully Consistent patient relationships from evaluation through discharge Clinical autonomy to make decisions based on your patient's needs A sustainable full-time schedule Half-day Fridays that give you more time outside of work A collaborative Physical Therapy team that shares ideas, experience, and clinical knowledge Prompt EMR to support efficient documentation and clinic workflows A patient-first environment focused on meaningful outcomes rather than simply moving people through the schedule What You Will Do as a Physical Therapist As a Physical Therapist at Maritime Physical Therapy, you will: Evaluate patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting Develop individualized, evidence-based Physical Therapy plans of care Deliver one-on-one Physical Therapy Help patients improve mobility, strength, function, movement confidence, and quality of life Progress patients safely through each stage of rehabilitation Use your clinical reasoning to adjust treatment based on patient presentation and progress Educate patients so they understand their condition and remain engaged in their recovery Build strong relationships that help patients stay motivated throughout treatment Complete documentation accurately and efficiently Collaborate with fellow Physical Therapists on patient care and clinical decision-making Contribute to a positive, supportive, and patient-focused clinic culture Grow Into a Stronger Physical Therapist Your development as a Physical Therapist should continue throughout your career.
