Job Description

This travel assignment will begin at a Chelsea location and transition to Revere in July, maximizing your exposure to different care settings and leadership styles. Schedule/Hours:
Full-time travel assignment Initial assignment at one location, transitioning to another mid-contract for increased variety
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor's or Master's acceptable for licensure prior to 2016; Doctor of Physical Therapy required for licensure from 2016 onward) Current Physical Therapist license BLS Certification 1-2 years' experience in hospital, rehab, or ambulatory settings Experience in orthopedic physical therapy Strong knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and establish individualized plans of care Administer manual therapy and therapeutic exercises Instruct, assist, and motivate patients in physical activities, including use of supportive devices Accurately complete treatment documentation and billing Monitor progress, adjust treatment goals, and coordinate care plans with patients and families Participate in quality improvement initiatives Supervise PTAs per organization policy and state regulations
