Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience or a strong interest in working with children and adolescents in an educational or pediatric setting Understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with school documentation and compliance Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff Ability to adapt therapeutic activities to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' mobility and functional needs within the school environment Develop and implement individualized physical therapy interventions in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for integrated service delivery Provide training and support to school personnel regarding student mobility, equipment use, and classroom accessibility Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school policies Why consider this position?
