Desired Background and Qualifications:

Active Physical Therapist license required Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting preferred Ability to adapt therapeutic exercises to meet individual student needs Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, faculty, and families Commitment to fostering a positive, encouraging environment for every learner Flexibility and reliability to cover as needed (PRN) and manage a part-time schedule

Responsibilities:

Evaluate students to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Deliver physical therapy interventions that promote greater mobility, strength, and overall function for students with varying needs Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy into daily routines Maintain detailed records of student progress and adapt plans as necessary Educate families and staff on safe techniques and strategies to reinforce progress outside of direct therapy sessions Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach for student success
