About The Role We're looking for a skilled, patient-centered Physical Therapist to join our clinical team in a full-time or part-time capacity. You'll evaluate and treat a diverse outpatient orthopedic caseload, including post-surgical rehab, sports injuries, spine care, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Unlike high-volume corporate clinics, we give our therapists the time and autonomy to deliver hands-on, one-on-one care and build real relationships with their patients. You'll work alongside experienced clinicians in a collaborative environment where your clinical judgment is trusted and your professional growth is supported. Both experienced therapists and new graduates are encouraged to apply. New grads will receive mentorship from our senior clinicians as they build their skills and confidence. What You'll Do Patient Care — Perform thorough initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and discharge assessments — Develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care with measurable goals — Provide skilled treatment including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education — Design and progress home exercise programs that keep patients engaged between visits Documentation & Compliance — Complete timely, accurate documentation in our EMR system, TheraOffice (we'll be integrating AI-assisted documentation tools by the end of the year) — Follow Medicare, insurance, and HIPAA documentation and billing guidelines — Communicate with referring physicians and other providers regarding patient progress Team & Practice Growth — Collaborate with fellow therapists and front office staff to keep the clinic running smoothly — Help mentor PT students completing clinical rotations and observation hours — Support community outreach and relationships with local physicians and referral sources Required Licenses & Certifications — Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, or equivalent physical therapy degree, from a CAPTE-accredited program — Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE), administered by the FSBPT — Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license issued by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), or eligibility to obtain one before start date — Completion of Michigan's required one-time training in identifying victims of human trafficking — Completion of Michigan's required implicit bias training (2 hours for initial licensure, and 1 hour per year of each renewal cycle) — Ability to maintain licensure through Michigan's continuing education requirements (24 PDR credits per 2-year renewal cycle, including pain and symptom management training) — Current CPR/BLS certification — Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) number, or willingness to obtain one before start date Skills We're Looking For — Strong foundation in outpatient orthopedic evaluation and treatment — Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients of all ages — Organized, reliable, and committed to timely documentation — Team-oriented attitude and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care Nice to Have (Not Required) — 1+ years of outpatient orthopedic experience — Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification or orthopedic/manual therapy residency or fellowship training — Dry Needling certification — Experience with sports rehab, post-operative protocols, or spine care Schedule —
Full-time:
approximately 36-40 hours per week —
Part-time:
approximately 16-24 hours per week, with flexibility on days — Clinic hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM-3:00 PM; no weekends What We Offer —
