Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a Physical Therapist supporting students in a vibrant educational setting. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, allowing you to make an immediate and lasting difference in the lives of children and teens. Your expertise as a school-based PT will be instrumental in enhancing student mobility, function, and participation in the classroom. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create an inclusive learning environment and deliver impactful therapy services.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Experience delivering PT services in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Proficient in assessment, documentation, and progress reportingRole Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy evaluations and interventions to students in accordance with their education programs Support students in achieving greater independence with daily tasks and mobility Consult with teachers, staff, and families to integrate PT recommendations into the classroom and home environments Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of studentsBenefits & Perks:
