Qualifications:

Active Michigan Physical Therapist license is required Prior pediatric experience is a must Strong communication skills to connect with students, families, and educational teams Ability to manage a diverse caseload ranging from early childhood to high school age Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy services to students across preK-12 age groups, adapting interventions to individual needs Conduct assessments, document progress, and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student mobility, participation, and access in school settings Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningful recommendations for student success Maintain all documentation and reporting according to school and state standards Serve as a resource for staff and families on physical development and mobility strategies This contract position offers 30-32 hours per week, ideally over 4 days, providing a supportive schedule that leaves room for work-life balance.
