Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives as a Physical Therapist providing essential support throughout the 2026/2027 school year. This contract role offers a part-time schedule of three days per week, centered on a diverse PreK caseload. Located conveniently near Ballwin, MO, this is an exciting opportunity to deliver therapeutic services to young learners within a supportive educational setting. What you'll bring: Valid Missouri Physical Therapist (PT) license required Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations, especially PreK students, is preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and working collaboratively as part of educational teams Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs Excellent organization skills to manage caseload, documentation, and scheduling Commitment to fostering growth, independence, and inclusion for all students Role and responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services to PreK students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Evaluate student abilities, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct interventions in a school-based environment Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and outcomes Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' educational goals Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings and cross-disciplinary team discussions Adapt techniques and equipment based on school resources and student needs Benefits and perks: Steady, part-time contract schedule: three days per week, keeping your work-life balance in mind Opportunity to work in a school setting with a dedicated support staff Enriching caseload focused on PreK learners, allowing you to see tangible student growth Step into a role where your expertise will help students thrive and reach milestones.
