Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist specializing in pelvic floor rehabilitation to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to improve pelvic health for a diverse patient population. Your expertise will help patients regain function, reduce discomfort, and enhance their quality of life through targeted therapy interventions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional patient care in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, including assessments of physiology, anatomy, and medical history Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and pelvic floor exercises Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote ongoing recovery and wellness Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals including physicians, urologists, gynecologists, neurologists, and other specialists to coordinate care plans Manage clinical documentation standards accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Assist with discharge planning by preparing patients for home & community care environments and providing necessary follow-up instructions Participate in patient rehabilitation programs across outpatient clinics, inpatient units, home health services, and outpatient rehabilitation centers Experience Proven practicing experience as a physical therapist with a focus on pelvic floor therapy or related fields such as orthopedics or neurology Demonstrated expertise working with geriatric patients, pediatrics, or patients requiring post-surgical rehabilitation Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards relevant to pelvic health therapy Experience in outpatient clinic settings or outpatient rehabilitation centers is highly preferred Familiarity with inpatient hospital environments and home health services enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive care Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for documentation and treatment planning purposes Prior involvement in discharge planning and working within multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Join us in making a meaningful difference by empowering patients through expert pelvic floor PT!
