Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals recovering from injuries or illnesses.Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, range of motion, and return to function
- Utilize modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to relieve pain and promote healing
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
- Doctorate or transitional doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in orthopedics and/or sports PT preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
