August 18, 2026 - June 4, 2027 We're hiring a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a supportive school district team in Wilmington, North Carolina! This is an excellent opportunity for a PT seeking a manageable caseload and the chance to work with a diverse student population in a collaborative educational environment.
What You'll Do:
Provide physical therapy services to students ranging from PreK through 12th grade Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and families Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation Support student mobility, independence, and access to educational programming
Position Details:
35-40 hours per week School year contract: 8/18/2026 - 6/4/2027 Caseload of fewer than 50 students Students range from PreK through 12th grade Typically serves 1-2 school sites per day Majority of services provided at the
District's Developmental Day Center What You'll Need:
Active or eligible North Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license School-based experience preferred Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
