Job Description

As a Lead Physical Therapist with Portsmouth Regional Hospital you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back! Job Summary The Lead Pediatric PT plans, directs and oversees all aspects of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Services department under the guidance of the department Director. You will provide quality patient care within your field of specialty and assist in administrative duties, as necessary. As the lead you will monitor work assignments, call arrangements and make changes in the schedule as necessary. You will also coordinate departmental purchasing and ensure adequate stock levels at all times. You will monitor staff productivity and compliance with policies and procedures. You will assure billing functions and procedures are performed accurately. You will be responsible for the efficient operation of the department and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs. You will assist in maintaining the Performance Improvement (PI) program for the department.
