Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact throughout an entire school district as a Physical Therapist serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This full-time contract position offers an engaging schedule from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 35 hours weekly for the 2026-2027 academic year. Desired Qualifications:
Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license Prior school-based Physical Therapy experience preferred Comfort and adaptability working district-wide with K-12 students Ability to meet all New Jersey onboarding requirements, including TB test, physical, and fingerprint clearance Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexible and organized, able to navigate multiple school environments Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to students with varied needs across several schools Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required Travel as needed within the district to serve assigned schools and caseloads Adhere to all state, school district, and professional guidelines By joining this district-wide initiative, you'll build strong relationships with students and staff while encouraging achievement and independence in every school community you serve.
