Job Description

Step into an essential role supporting students as a physical therapist in a school-based, consultative position located near Margate City, NJ. This unique contract opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking flexible involvement and the chance to positively impact a school community. You'll provide expert guidance for student mobility and development by consulting once a month throughout the academic year, from September 2nd to June 16th.
Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Experience providing physical therapy within a school or pediatric healthcare setting Strong knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and school-based therapy practices Effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other team members Ability to write clear, actionable consult notes and recommendations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct consultative visits once a month to assess student needs and progress Collaborate with school staff and families to suggest strategies for student mobility and participation in the classroom Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and modifications when needed Serve as a trusted resource on best practices in pediatric and school-based therapy Document consult outcomes and provide written reports outlining goals and interventions This contract position offers the flexibility to maintain your personal and professional balance while making a meaningful contribution to the school community.
