Work Environment This position is based in our modern outpatient office setting in Metuchen, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and determine appropriate treatment plans. Design and implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of advanced therapeutic methods including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities to aid in pain alleviation and mobility improvement. Monitor patient progress by keeping precise records of treatments and outcomes, adjusting therapeutic goals and techniques as necessary to ensure optimal recovery. Educate patients and their families about posture, body mechanics, and other factors that influence recovery, providing crucial training on assistive devices if necessary. Actively collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, sharing insights and participating in case discussions to enhance treatment effectiveness. Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and seminars, contributing to a team culture focused on learning and innovation. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Our physical therapy practice emphasizes personalized care, ensuring that each patient receives attention tailored to their specific needs and health circumstances. This supportive environment cultivates trust and motivates patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. A valid Physical Therapist license (DPT) in the State of New Jersey. Strong written and verbal communication abilities to articulate treatment plans and educate patients effectively. Proficiency in electronic documentation and basic computer skills. Ability to demonstrate flexibility and agility in a fast-paced environment, adapting to the varying needs of patients. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, although new graduates are encouraged to apply due to our supportive mentorship program. Prior experience in outpatient and/or home care settings is highly favored. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary in the range of
USD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
